Music bio: I am influenced by my parents' music; dad was a jazz pianist and multi-instrumentalist and mom was a music educator. Both were also actor/singers, and dad was a show orchestra conductor among other things(aeronautical engineer, fighter pilot etc). I never planned to go into performing as a profession, but from my teens on I was in shows, chamber choirs, quartets, and a soloist at weddings, funerals, and churches. For a time in my twenties I was part of a small cabaret group, and also sang at the Hotel Viking bar in Newport, RI with an amazing jazz duo, TC and Maurice on piano and clarinet. My main career was in theatre and art,  and after this long break it is wonderful to be sharing these songs which are the soundtrack of my life! It's a mission of mine to keep this music of the Great American Songbook vibrant and alive.

Moonlight in Vermont features my dad, Charlie Stowe on the piano at about age 86. This is one of the few times we played/sang together, so glad for this recording!
